Beginning November 30, all U.S. and select European Hard Rock Cafes will feature Mad Anthony’s Original Style and Extra Hot BBQ sauces, proving that rock ‘n’ roll flavor really is the “best of both worlds.”

During this time, Hard Rock will offer a new menu item, “Mad Anthony’s Grilled Skirt Steak,” featuring Michael's new BBQ sauce. The dish was created by Hard Rock chefs with Michael’s personal touch. The 11-ounce skirt steak is brushed with Mad Anthony’s Original Style BBQ sauce, grilled and made-to-order, and complimented with sweet potato french fries and fresh vegetables. The delicious dish will become a permanent addition to Hard Rock’s world-famous menu, available in all corporate-owned cafes on November 30 (available in Canada on December 21).

Collectable bottles of Mad Anthony’s BBQ Sauces, Original Style and Extra Hot (currently available in the Mad Anthony Online Store), will soon be available at all Rock Shops in the U.S. and at www.hardrock.com.

To further celebrate the launch, Michael will be appearing at the following local cafes where he will meet with fans and sign bottles of his new BBQ sauces:

12/7 - New York, NY
12/8 - Philadelphia, PA
12/9 - Boston, MA
12/12 - Chicago, IL
12/14 - San Francisco, CA
12/15 - Los Angeles, CA (Beverly Center)

Appearance times in all cities are 11:45am - 1:00pm.

In addition, Michael will be dedicating a piece of memorabilia during each appearance, which will be added to Hard Rock’s world-renowned collection. A limited-edition “Mad Anthony” pin will also be available at the Rock Shops in these six markets.

“Like music, cooking and more specifically, barbecuing is one of my greatest passions and my sauce is a celebration of these simple pleasures in life,” said Michael. “I am thrilled to have my original BBQ sauces featured on Hard Rock’s menu, as both embody the true meaning of rock ‘n’ roll flavor.”

As usual, things were "on the beach" down in Cabo for Sammy Hagar's annual Cabo Wabo Birthday Bash!

"The Other Half" (consisting of Michael, Hagar, Vic Johnson and David Lauser) jammed one night, Los Tres Gusanos another and of course various musicians sat in on other nights as usual.

Things are wild and crazy down in Cabo San Lucas for Sammy Hagar's 2005 Birthday Bash! Michael arrived just in time to kick the party into high gear and Los Tres Gusanos played to a packed-house on Monday the 10th.

"The Other Half" (consisting of Michael, Hagar, Vic Johnson and David Lauser) shifted the festivities into overdrive on the 11th, kicking ass and taking names as they tore through sets of nothin' but Van Halen tunes.

Fans have been in line more than 24 hours already to get wristbands for the final show of the bash tonight. Stay tuned for pictures and a full report. Arriba!

Michael arrives in Mexico this afternoon, just in time to get settled in before hitting the stage at the Cabo Wabo on Sunday along with pals Sammy Hagar, Vic Johnson and David "Bro" Lauser. Rumor has it Los Tres Gusanos will be making a no-longer-a-surprise-visit! Expect to see the hard-rockin' trio sometime at Hagar's club between the 9th and the 13th - this baby will be on the beach!!

Michael's Ford GT will be on display at the Ford booth at the 2005 SEMA show in Las Vegas, NV November 1 - 4. The GT will feature a set of one-off Bonspeed wheels and a new Borla exhaust. The YGD (Yamaha Custom shop) is also getting involved to create a special one-of-a-kind companion bass to accompany the GT that will feature hardware from the car as well as a matching paint job.

The new Mad Anthony's BBQ Sauce - Original Style and Extra Hot - is done! Bottling is underway and both will be available in a healthy 16 oz bottle in our online store in the next two to three weeks.

In the mean time, get those barbecues dusted off and ready to fire up your favorite meat, Mad Anthony's style of course!!

October is just about here and you know what that means - Cabo Time! Michael will be in Cabo San Lucas to jam the last couple of shows with Sammy Hagar and the Waboritas at the Red Rocker's Annual Birthday Bash at his Cabo Wabo Cantina in your favorite sleepy little town south of the border.

We'll post dates for Los Tres Gusanos gigs as things get finalized.

Earlier this year, Ford hand-delivered a pair of custom 2005 Ford GT40 Limited Edition cars to Michael and fellow partner in crime, Sammy Hagar while the duo were in Detroit, MI to perform at the Fox Theater.

With 500 horsepower and 500 foot-pounds of torque, these rides are the thoroughbreds of sport cars and as Michael explains, "This is one fast ride! I took her up to 145 MPH, which is the fastest I've ever driven a car. However, she'll do 205 mph! My Ford GT40 totally SMOKES everything else I own!!"

The Mad Anthony Family O' Sauces is growing yet again! Michael and the fine folks over at Mike & Diane's Gourmet Kitchen are putting the finishing touches on TWO BBQ sauces - Mad Anthony's Original and Extra Hot!

The labels are being designed and bottling should begin before the year is out. So reinforce the asbestos underwear and stock up on ribs and chicken - in the mean time, we'll keep ya toasted as everything gets finalized.

Michael's brother Dennis was married on July 9 in sunny San Diego, CA. A wonderful time was had by all in attendance and we wish the bride and groom a lifetime of wedded bliss!

Michael was on hand at the Hot Licks Hot Sauce Festival recently to promote Mad Anthony's Hot Sauce and rub elbows with hot sauce makers and lovers from all around the nation.

The festival is held in Seaport Village in San Diego, CA and celebrates spicy foods. 5% of the proceeds collected go to charity and this year's recipient was The ALS Association (ALSA).

Los Tres Gusanos and Sammy Hagar & The Waboritas began their nine date Summer party with three sold-out shows at the Cabo Wabo South Shore Room in Lake Tahoe, NV April 29-May 1.

The Gusanos tore through a bevy of Hagar and Montrose classics, Van Halen staples and all kinds of other fist-pounding rockers each of the three nights including "Bad Motor Scooter," "Paper Money, " "Cabo Wabo," "Right Now," Up For Breakfast," "Summertime Blues," "Top of the World," "Mas Tequila," "Amsterdam," "Best of Both Worlds," "Rock and Roll," "Runaround," "Mas Tequila" and "Red."

Los Tres Gusanos, featuring Michael on bass, Sammy Hagar on lead vocals and guitar and The Waboritas' David Lauser on drums welcomed a few guests during their sets including Wabos' guitarist Vic Johnson and Mr. Scary himself, George Lynch. Journey's Neal Schon also joined the Wabos on stage on April 29 to perform Procol Harum's "Whiter Shade of Pale."

Next stop on the mini tour is the Borgata Resort & Spa in Atlantic City, NJ. Come on out and let's party!!!

If that wasn't enough, the mighty bassist then kicked things up a notch or two at a private dinner at a posh Japanese steak house before heading on over to the Galaxy Theater in Anaheim where he hooked up with Gary Cherone, Nuno Bettencourt and George Lynch, much to the delight of the sold-out crowd.

The makeshift garage band tore through high energy versions of Ain't Talkin' 'bout Love, Mean Street and Somebody Get Me A Doctor - the latter featuring Michael on lead vocals. The band then brought the house down as they wrapped up their set with a rare version of Extreme's Play With Me!

Michael later joined Jon Anderson, Dick Dale, T.M. Stevens, Warren Di Martini, Dave "Snake" Sabo, Neil Zaza, Bettencourt, Cherone and Lynch among others to jam on Zeppelin's Communication Breakdown and Rock and Roll.

It was a tough decision, but the winning photos in the End of Tour Giveaway have been selected!
