2004 Van Halen summer tour wrapped up November 19 with a pair
of shows in Tucson, AZ. Michael had a kick ass time as the
tour blitzed through 80 cities throughout the U.S. and Canada.

BASS GOES TO CLEVELAND

Michael's
original Jack Daniel's bass, made infamous in the Panama video
and live throughout the worldwide 1984 tour, will soon be
making a special appearance at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
in Cleveland, OH.
By
special arrangement, the legendary bass will be on loan to
the RRHOF for the next couple of years. Make sure to check
it out the next time your ass is in Cleveland.

the Jack Daniel's bass was the perfect cho

2004

Bonspeed,
Michael and Brad Fanshaw's custom car company, put together
a custom Mustang for the 2004 SEMA show held in Las Vegas,
NV November 2.
Known
as the Black Rose, this 2005 Mustang GT was set up to rock
the streets. It features Black-on-Black paint, weathered Buffalo
interior, tattoo style graphics, hood pins styled after piercing
jewelry and a monster audio/video system. Get the specs down

SAN LUCAS ROAD JOURNAL

Another
Sammy B-Day bash has come and gone and all I can say
is, "Whew, I'm sure glad this only happens once
a year - my liver can't take this kind of abuse too
often!!"
Like always, it was a bashing good time. From the weather
to the all night rockin' at club Cabo Wabo, it was just
insane.
As you can see from some of the shots taken,
the music and drinks were a flowin'!
It
was only a matter of time before I was jamming with everyone
from Chad Kroeger of Nickleback, to the Waboritas, Billy Duffy,
some of the Smashmouth guys, Jerry Cantrell and even country
guy Kenny Chesney.
I barely made it out alive and can't wait until next year
when we do it all over again. I'm back on the road with Van
Halen and gearing up for the final two shows in Tucson, AZ.

The
shirts are made with authentic military patches and
the proceeds help support our troops.

a Jack Daniel's bass! See what wearing a Mr. T shirt

FIREY
FOOD CHALLENGE!

Mad
Anthony's Hot Sauce recently burned up the competition at
the 2005 Chile
Pepper Magazine Fiery Food Challenge when it took 2nd
Place in the "Hot Sauce - General" category, which
has the most entries in the entire challenge! In addition,
the not-yet-announced Mad Anthony's Mustard took 1st Place
in the "Condiment - Mustard" category!
Speaking
of mustard, there's now a new addition to the Mad Anthony
kitchen - a gourmet, spicey mustard. Great on everything from
hot dogs and sausages to hamburgers and ham sandwiches. Watch
out though, it's got a bite!
Rounding
things out is a mild version of Mad Anthony's Hot Sauce. A
little something for you wimps out there. It's got the same
great taste as the hot stuff, just without the pain.
Both
are expected to be available by the end of the year. As always,
we'll keep ya toasted!

off for the Mad Anthony Pepper Bar menu and show
you how to make the Mad Anthony Shot!
Check
out the pictorial to see how it's done, then print
out the recipe below to give it a shot of your
own.
Don't forget your extra underwear!
How to make a “Mad Anthony®”
2
oz Cabo Wabo® Tequila
1
oz Spicy V8® (we like this better then regular V8 because
of the kicked up spices. You can try to sub a good Bloody
Mary mix as well)
Juice
from a fresh Lime
A
generous dollop of Mad Anthony’s Hot Sauce® (Don’t
skimp here or you’ll make Mr. Anthony MAD!)
Combine
in a shaker full of ice and shake it up baby!!
Pour
into shot glass garnished with
a dab of salt
a small slice of lime
a slice of Serrano or Jalapeno chili pepper
1.
Lick the Salt
2. Drink the Shot
3. Eat the Pepper
4. Throw the lime over your left shoulder
5. Repeat

WABO 2004!

It's
that time of year again - you know the one we're talkin' about:
Sammy's Birthday Bash/Mexican Meltdown in Cabo San Lucas!
That's right, Michael will be making the trek down south of
the border to take part in Sammy's annual Cabo Wabo bash,
so expect to see Los Tres Gusanos tearing up the stage at
least one night in this sleepy little town. Before and after
that, anything goes!
One
date we can give you: Los Tres Gusanos (featuring Michael,
Sammy and David Lauser) will be rockin' into the night on
October 12 at the Cabo Wabo Cantina. Get there early or miss
out!
Michael
will also be joining Sammy Hagar and the Waboritas on October
11th and 13th for a little extra curricular activities - just
in time to celebrate the Red Rocker's birthday in true Cabo
style. Just what you need to get that VH fix while the band
is on a short break.
So

Leg
2 of the VH tour has wrapped up and what
better place
to cap it off than a pair of bashing nights in the band's
old stomping grounds. Check out the latest installment
of Michael's 2004 Road Journal with this little photo
pictorial of VH's two-night stint at the Staples Center
in Los Angeles, CA.

you can see, lots of friends dropped by the S&M
Lounge to do a shot or two, show off some skin and help
bash the night away!
