KICKIN'
IT IN ARIZONA

Michael
will be in Scottsdale, AZ for the Goodguys Southwest
National Car Show the weekend of November 16-18! The
mighty bassist and his 1933
"Fire" roadster will also be making an
appearance at the grand opening of the new Bonspeed
store in Mesa on Saturday, November 17.
The
grand opening of the Bonspeed
store will include a parking lot show of hot rods, customs,
trucks and street machines. You can be one of the first
to see this new store that highlights the automotive
lifestyle! Bonspeed
has everything from custom wheels to clothing.
Michael has donated an autographed BB1000
Yamaha bass which will be raffled during the grand
opening. Tickets cost $5 each and the proceeds will
benefit a local Phoenix charity. Check dates and times
below for additional information:

Yamaha's
Michael Anthony bass line has a new addition - the BB1000MA!
The new bass is a lower priced version of the BB3000MA
and features a bolt-on neck verses the neck-thru-the-body
design found on the BB3000MA as well as red fret markers
(non-Chili peppers).
The
bass will be available in September of 2001. Click

CARS
AND GUITARS HIGHLIGHTS

Michael
was on hand at the grand opening of the Peterson Automotive
Museum's Cars & Guitars Of Rock & Roll show
on June 14 along with his 1933 Fire Roadster, the infamous
Jack Daniel's bass and all kinds of other cool rods
and guitars owned by many of his hard rockin' peers.
One
of the highlights of the evening was a silent auction
featuring a one-of-a-kind Yamaha TRB5PII 5-string bass
painted to match Mighty Mike's Fire Roadster. The bad-ass
bass raked in the largest bid at the gal
a coming in
at a staggering $10,500! Mike Hammer purchased the TRB5PII
as a gift for his son and the proceeds go to the Peterson
Automotive
Museum who in turn disperse it to several charities
throughout the nation.

AUCTION

A
silent auction is scheduled during the June 14th opening
of the Cars and Guitars of Rock and Roll show in Los
Angeles, CA. Among the items open for bid are a one
of a kind Yamaha 5-string bass: A TRB5P Mark II. The
bass is a stock version of a model Michael will be using
on the road and will feature a custom black and flame
paint job to match his roadster!
In
addition, Michael has also donated one of his prized
Bonneville watches from his personal watch collection
for bids! Michael wore the watch regularly on Van Halen's
1998 world tour. Its time to rock and roll, baby!

CARS
& GUITARS OF ROCK AND ROLL

Michael's
1933 'Fire' Roadster
will be on display along with a matching flame-painted bass
at the Cars and Guitars show, sponsored by the Petersen
Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, CA.
The
show opens it's doors to the public on June 14th in conjunction
with the Fourth Annual Cars & Stars Gala and runs until
the end of the year.
In
addition to Michael's hotrod, many other cars and guitars
will be on display including those from Jeff Beck, Jimmie
Vaughan and Brian Setzer. Michael will also be making an appearance
at the opening festivities!
